Gimbal took error

ok haven't flown in a few weeks, went to fly yesterday, start up aircraft and gimbal attempts to calibrate and then just faces down. Go app says Gimbal Roll Error hardware problem and contact DJI support. I did IMU calibration and that temporarily resolved issue for 1 flight. Put in a new battery and same issues occurred. I have little over 40 flights on aircraft, no crashes etc. firmware is updated and aircraft is prestine condition always in hard case when not in use. Any ideas? I'm not really wanting to send in for repair as I will be a beach during Thanksgiving week and was hoping to get in a lot of flight time.

I did do IMU and gimbal calibration which worked for 1 flight. After battery swap same issue.
