Gimbal pitch control lever doesn't work

Just got a DJI Phantom 2, with Zenmuse Gimbal. Pitch control doesn't work. I have tried recalibrating and new firmware. When I get to the calibration of the X1 it won't move and states all the way to the left. Which has the camera pointing straight ahead. Any help would be great.
