yes, slide the top back on to the thicker part of the shaft, you have to do one side at a time. Let them sit there for a while, then quickly push the top off. If it does not come off try again by doing it again but wait longer. Sometimes it takes me a few tries. They will go back to correct shape and resnap in place once installed again.

Or just replace with loosely installed cable ties. You will get as or better function of the shock mounts with less chance of gimble and canera comming off in a hard landing.
