Just got hold of a NEW P3A, never flown. When unpacked, it did not have a plastic gimbal brace. The camera had the foam pad in the back and the camera sat in a foam block between the landing gear with the camera/gimbal fit inside a contoured area. Is this standard for a Phantom 3 Advanced or should I purchase the accessory gimbal lock?
Thanks!

Got the gimbal locks today.

So do the gimbal locks provide enough support with the P3A in a hard case? Should I trim the foam padding to allow it to still be used along with the gimbal lock?

Yes. Make sure it's securely attached and you'll be good to go.
