I didn't want to create a new thread but related to youtube so I thought I'd just drop this piece of knowledge here... So in order to be able to select a 4k resolution for your youtube videos when viewing, you have to upload 4k video that's 30fps. Youtube will allow you to upload 60fps videos but you won't be able to select a resolution higher than 1080p when viewing. I had read about this and then experimented on my own and found this to be correct.
