FPV viewing concerns

Do my GoPro settings effect the video transmission of my fpv? I think now that I shoot in protune constantly, the video feed seems darker? That's too bad, especially because there doesn't seem like a way to increase the brightness or adjust settings on my blackpearl monitor.

The video feed just seems so so dark, and I don't have confidence getting close to trees and stuff like this when doing flyover shots. Thoughts? Thanks!

You can alter the brightness in the Picture Mode which is the first option on the menu system.

Yeah nice call. Thanks so much. I started playing w the picture settings, still trying to figure out which level of brightness/contrast/sat/ etc fits well with standard outdoor flying. Any tips are appreciated. Thanks!
