FPV Transmitter & Upgrade Board

I assume I need to cut this black video wire tip out of transmitter cable and splice together with supplied 3 color cable then attach to upgrade board ???

Just want to make sure before I cut this.

So the cord from the transmitter after opening up only has a yellow and a ground. Am I assuming the red wire from the board is to stay unconnected to anything?

The transmitter power is soldered to the board so where does this red VCC go?

Why is there not a clear instruction on how to put this together. I bought my transmitter/receiver package from Dronefly and they direct you to a completely different product via youtube.

Yes. Yellow (signal) to yellow, ground to brown, red (Vcc) remains unconnected. Just put tape or heatshrink over the end. You don't need it since your TX is already powered separately.
