You joined Phantom Pilots 2 weeks ago, yesterday your first post is finding a Phantom, I'm Just curios.

Was it crashed, have you looked at the SD card, etc... ?

Yes it was crashed with minor prop damage--probably hit a nearby tree. Checked the camera card but it was empty. Contacted DJI with serial # but they refused to help. Also contacted DJI retail in SF and they also said they could do nothing. I thought DJI would have a list of serial numbers and could track it to either the buyer or seller but they seem unable to help.

Don't think that thread is useful---I'm trying to return it to owner, not sell it. The real issue is why DJI won't assist. You would think they could at least provide me with info on where it was originally bought.
