Focus and Litchi

As I understand it, you will need to be setting the focus target fairly often since the Mavic is manual focus as opposed to other auto focus models. I also understand that Litchi will be coming out with support for the Mavic.

I do like to set up a mission and send off my drone to video the whole thing. Now, regarding focus, how would that work if the Mavic was out my signal range? Even if it weren't will I still need to be setting new focus targets as it's flying a mission?

All you need to do is take off, click somewhere on the sky in the distance to set the focus, and send it off on your mission. There is no need to attempt to reset the focus during your mission.
