Hi All, I'm trying to do some calculations for image overlap with my P 3 Pro, the calculator needs the lens focal length (which i think is 20mm) and the 'focal length multiplier'. Does anyone know what this is for a p 3 pro?
Given this info i can use the calculator on http://www.tawbaware.com/maxlyons/calc.htm to work out the shots i need for a waypoint flight.

The focal length for the P3P is also 20mm.

Understood, but i also need to know the focal length multiplier - whatever that is....
That calculator is for 35mm cameras.
The P3 pro lens actually has a focal length of 3.61mm but to use that calculator you cheat a little and pretend it's a 35mm camera.
The lens on the P3 has the same viewing angle as a 20mm lens on a full-frame 35mm camera.
So you plug in 20mm for the focal length and 1 for the multiplier value.

The multiplier value is something you'd use if you were calculating for a cropped sensor camera like say a Nikon D3200 but if your camera has a full-frame sensor the multiplier is 1.
