This is most definitely not supposed to be a lecture - just purely an observation.
A couple of days ago I got a Hubsan X4 as the weather here in the UK is simply atrocious. After going through about half a dozen batteries worth of flying I was able to achieve a stable hover and fly around our living room in a more or less controlled manner. Last night I decided to show off my new skills to swmbo. The only problem was I had drunk a couple of pints of lager and the Hubsan seemed to have suddenly developed a mind of its own
. It was a salutary lesson on the effects of even a small amount of alcohol.
Far be it for me to advise not flying the PV2 when under the influence but it is something I will be aware of in the future.
The Hubsan has been recommended on here a few times and I am sure it will help with my stick skills. I am not yet able to reliably rotate it and practice nose in flying yet but that is next on the list.
