Flying Phantom 1 in manual mode

Is there any gyro help in manual mode to help stabilize?

There is yaw stabilisation but no auto-levelling.

Thanks for the reply. I wonder why they did it that way. Going to manual is a whole new ball game on this thing.

One huge benefit of little stabilisation is that there are no jerky motions as the phantom stabilises when taking videos. You control the pitch and roll and the phantom doesn't try to correct it.

Manual mode is probably the best mode for taking good videos.
