Flying in snow

Well I have flown during a heavy show storm with no ill effects. All the electronic components ESC's, receiver and main board are sealed but not the naza module or the battery,

Also have flown in 20° weather which shortens battery flight time. Footage for this clip was taken over two days this past winter.

My only tip would be to do a lot reading on icing. It's complicated but you can at least identify when it's more likely.
Go Tony Stark Style by painting a gold-titanium alloy (earlier satellite design that wasn't prone to freezing) :) :D

Decided to find out for sure. I only flew for a couple minutes because I got too cold. It was 12 degrees Fahrenheit and I did not have a jacket, hat or gloves with me. I didn't see any icing but the surface of the drone was wet. Flight over the Mississippi in Minnesota.
