Can anybody tell me what happens if I fly lower then my starting altitude. And what happens when there will be a failsafe?Iwant to make a video standing on high cliffs.
I don't know the answer to your question. But, you should be fine if you set your return to home altitude to something higher than the distance between your starting altitude and the depth you're going to drop + the height of an obstacles (e.g. trees) above your starting altitude.
If you trigger an RTH the bird will climb to the original Home Point altitude + 20m, even if you are below the initial altitude when the RTH is initiated.
I've stood on a bluff 75 feet above the ocean while recording a friend surf. The altimeter gave a negative number, which was normal since I was flying the bird 65 feet lower than its takeoff altitude. Flying lower than your starting altitude will not create an automatic RTH.
