Quick note: I have only owned a quad for 2 months, so I'm new at all of the regulations and stuff..
I am a photographer and I do volunteer work. I volunteered at a jet pull for the MS Society last year, and it was at T.F. Green Airport in Rhode Island. So they asked me to shoot again this year. I was thinking of using my P2, but I think I'd be within 5 miles of the airport... lol...
I emailed the airport this morning asking nicely if I could use it, saying that I understand and will comply with all rules and regulations, and also said I understood if I couldn't. So I was just throwing it out to you all to see what my chances are of being able to use it.
I would also assume that because I am not being paid that I wouldn't have to have a license and all that, or would I have to?
EDIT: Just thought of this... will the GPS even let me fly since I will be physically AT the airport??
