Well things were going really good today until I was turning and it drifted a little too far. I think because of the wind being up, it didn't turn as quick as normal. It hit a tree and down it came. The only damage was broken yaw arm. Ironically, the gimbal guard was in the mail box this afternoon after the crash. Oh well, might have got broken anyway. I guess it's all part of this life. If you fly, chances are, you will crash sooner or later.

It happens man. When I crashed mine the first time, it was the same situation at a low altitude and wind got me and pushed me into a tree. Luckily just broke a propeller and that was it. I felt terrible!

Good luck.

Can't let little things like that steal our joy of flying. I listened to some of the guys at the RC park after crashing very expensive aircraft. They said it's just part of it and it happens. If you are going to sweat it, don't start flying.

I totally understand its part of the hobby. I have flown single rotor helis as wells as several other smaller quads. The phantom is so easy to fly. Its just when it goes down, it goes down hard. Honestly the reason I felt bad was because it was a gift and I felt bad for crashing it so soon after receiving it.

Enjoy your phantom 3, I think its a lot of fun!

Feel your pain, I flew into some trees last year that were closer than I was able to determine. Lesson learned, the further way, less easy to determine range. It too was only a young craft. Take care

Third time out, trying to get a shot of my house whilst ascending. Camera was facing me so I'm 180* out and of course wanting to go left went right. Fortunately the house kindly jumped in the way.
Two broken props and one broken prop guard.
