Firmware version 3.12, any flight differences?

I just noticed and downloaded the latest firmware version 3.12. Has this addressed any further issues, other then, from what I read a flyaway fix? Have they improved anything else? How does it fly with the newer firmware?
 
They added some sort of remote control protection function but don't really explain how it works in the documentation... Does anyone know how toggling this setting on/off will affect product behavior?

UPDATE: Never mind... I found this information in the Naza-M V2 Quick Start Guide v1.04 on the Phantom support page. It is on page 20 of the PDF.
 
The major difference is the "auto take off"; you have to raise the throttle up to mid stick and wait for the Phantom to take off by itself. A few LED signal changes and the FS changes below. Some claim better GPS locking and less wobble when descend
