I just did a firmware upgrade on my P3S. I heard horror stories about doing the upgrades. Where drones have flown away.. Have they gotten any better with the upgrades?

Can it be the fly away happened during RTH. I think so. If the Voice on the phone tells you "home point recorded,check it on the map" then check it before you let the P3S takes off. I control my P3S with the latest firm ware and i had no fly away. But it can happen.
That was happening with an older version of the firmware. The home point wasn't being recorded properly and the default location was coming up as a point a few miles away. That is all fixed now.
