Anyone have any issues attempting to update the firmware to your P3P using a Macbook? I used the micro SD card that came with the drone, had to use a micro SD adapter from a different brand (I guess $1500CAD isn't enough to get an adapter). Downloaded the zip folder from the DJI website and when I insert the micro SD card into the P3P nothing is happening after I turn it on (no upgrade signs). Anyone else having problems? what solutions did you have? I called DJI and they were no real help really, said to try a windows and try a different card or else send it back...

No problem at all.

Did you extract the firmware, its compressed when you download it ?

Make sure you open the downloaded .zip file and move only the .bin file to the SD card. I don't think the firmware upgrade instructions were very clear on that.

Thanks for the response. dmcgrew, that was the issue. ONLY TRANSFER OVER BIN. Thanks.
Great video here too:
