Filters

I compared many of the commonly used filters here.

I've had good success with the filters from TACO. I bought the 4 filter set which comes in a nice padded hard case. the glass is good quality and they are direct replacement for the stock UV filter. the 4 pack gives you a wide range of filters that should handle any lighting situation.

I have never been able to remove the lens on my P3P, scared to try and force it with pliers and something to prevent marring. Anyone else had a problem? If so how did you resolve it?

Grip the filter as lightly as possible while unscrewing it. If your fingers slip, then try wearing a rubber glove or wrap something rubber around the filter. If you grip it too tightly, you will not be able to remove it.

Put a rubber band around it and gently turn it loose. The harder you squeeze the harder to loosen it up.
