Tough area to get authorization to fly. I passed up a job down there simply because the budget wasn't worth the hassle.

That makes absolutely ZERO difference. Unless the airspace is defined "starting at the top of the buildings and up..."

Yes I called Greenville Downtown GMU and was given permission for this flight as I always do when within 5 miles of an airport. Why would any of you possibly think or make the assumption otherwise?
