Not to be a Negative Nancy but although you will get good (video) reception with a UHF system, your phantom will still be transmitting using the native 2.4ghz system so if you go behind trees, or any other obstacle for that matter, you will be risking loss of signal. If you plan on doing this make sure to use the Phantom 2 assistant software to change the default failsafe mode from; going straight to the last location flown from and auto land, to; go up 20m then return home. Actually I'll be ditching the 2.4 GHz altogether. The control link will be on 433 MHz and the FPV Tx on 900 MHz. Should punch through some foliage pretty well.
