Yesterday i was asked to not fly my Phantom 4 because i would interfere with the US Coastguard,They were across the water from me about two miles away,They did have a very tall transmission tower,No aircraft fly from there, I Thought they were on a different frequency then we use anyone know anything about this.

You didn't say where the parking lot was located. Is it private property or a paid lot?

As a resident of coastal nc I can tell you that our cg station doesn't have helicopters assigned to it but they do on occasion have to land one to pick up an injured boater. I treat it as a hospital

What "interferes"? are you talking about the transmission frequency of your remote/UAV? I can't imagine the frequency would interfere with USCG operations.
What exactly did they say? "don't operate here because it interferes." That's too vague. I would have asked what they meant. Maybe they expect a helicopter to regularly land?

Need more information....where were you? (google map) Maybe you were adjacent to a MOA?

Wouldn't matter, flying in a MOA isn't restricted. You didn't say who asked you not to fly. Check on something like Airmap (or look at a sectional)to see if there are any flight restrictions in the area, if not, I would politely decline to stop flying. Even an airport operator has to have a legitimate reason for asking you not to fly within the 5 mile radius.

Huge empty parking field at Capture state park parking lot,A Park employeebsaid please don't fly here it interferes with the coast Guard 3 miles away across the ocean.

If you want to go back, I would call the CG base and ask them about any interference concerns, make sure you get the name and rank of the person you speak with. Then call the park department, explain what happened and tell them of your conversation with the CG. Ask them if there are any other concerns or issues that would prevent you from flying. Assuming that they can't give you any, go fly and if am other employee tries to pull the same thing, let them know what you have done and 'suggest' that they talk to their bosses. I don't usually condone or encourage confrontation, but too many pilots are getting the run around form people who don't really have clue.
