My P4P+ has elevation stability problems. Tell it go up and let go of the lever it keeps going up. You put down input into it and hold it . It will stop but not stable at one height. Put down into it and it will start down slow then speed up so fast it will show maximum motor speed on the scene almost doing a control fall. You have to put up into it to get it to slow down to land. It is acting like the GPS is not telling it it's height above ground. Any idea's out there?

This has nothing to do with GPS....It sounds more like a VPS issue. Are your lower sensors blocked by anything? Gimbal guard perhaps?

Your Phantom doesn't get any altitude information from GPS.
Well, actually it does in a round about way. But for the most part correct.

Yes never done it before but I will learn. May take a day or two. Thanks for the help.

Only takes 2 or 3 minutes
Go to DJI Flight Log Viewer | Phantom Help
Follow the instructions there to upload your flight record from your phone or tablet.
That will give you a detailed report of the flight.
Come back and post a link to the report it gives you.
