i tried to tell him that the camera is damaged but he thinks it just not been assembled !
some poor chap is going to buy it and end up with grief

Not sure why the camera is not attached, maybe it did have a crash?

I see nothing wrong. Yes, a camera was attached at one time but it could have been damaged and removed. He's including a replacement camera. He's saying that it's used. No indication that the included camera is damaged. I'd certainly not pay that asking price.
