E300 ESC

Purchased E300 ESC's...they have a pigtail to connect to NAZA. What is the difference between these and the E300 ESC's without pigtails ? Will they work without use of the pigtail ?

All E300 ESC's (and all ESC's in general) have the 3-pin cable that connects to the NAZA (or other brands of flight controllers/receivers). It's necessary to control the output of the ESC to the motors.
