Duh, little advice.

Had a compass error the other day near a power plant. Took it home it flew great. Had a compass error yesterday in the middle of a construction site. Thought maybe all the heavy equipment. Then I figured out the common denominator. Both areas were dirty, so, I took off from my tailgate on the truck. It has now dawned on me and has been verified by me that you cannot use a metal truck tailgate as a launching pad.
