Got lots of good info and a different perspective that changed my mind about purchasing the Phantom. I got the Pro instead of the + because I am going to use my iPad until the larger crystal skye monitor comes out. It's going to be used more like a regular RC aircraft than a camera platform. I bought from Amazon because of the ease with which you can return an item. I also got one of their bundles, for the same price as the 4 Pro alone, that has a few extras. Since I am using the iPad I really like the rc harness that comes as part of the bundle.
I should now have all I need. I have, 2 extra batteries, SD card micros, charger that will do 3 batteries at a time, an extender to hold the full size iPad, and Marco Polo. I played around with the Marco Polo inside the house and even in their it did a nice job finding the target. I need to tie it onto my dog and let him out and see if I can find him. I am already registere with the FAA. Appreciate the comments on the previous post
