I bought 2x Haiyin 2s 2400 lihv 's weighing 134 gr , one on each side similar to a 4s 2400 268gr . Took a test flight today at 0°c and got 26min flight time with 15% left.

How do you connect 2S batteries?

If you connect your two 2S packs in series, you'll get a single 4S pack.
And two 2s 2400mah packs are almost always lighter than two 4s 1200mah packs

And why again would 2 2s be better than 2 4s? I usually use 2 4s 2400 each parallel...

it is not necessary better but it was the best choice my local hobby shop had to weight ratio.
If I get hold of two hyperion 2s 2400 hv batteries that weigh just over 100gr each then I certainly get 1min more flying time ie 27 min in only 200gr payload.

I got it when I purchased the batteries , but it is easy to make too. connect positive from one battery to negative on the other.

2x2s/4400<420grams/these are hyperions

2x2s/2400 hyperion=216gr. Flight time 26-28 min. Not world record but cheaper, less stress for the motors/props/esc.

I do not know of anyone who has both but I have not looked for it either.
I use fpvlr mounts since they came with the air side booster kit i use.

I have just dismantled a phantom 3 battery to split the package in 2 x 2s / 4480mah lihv 's. They weigh 161gr each with cable and xt 60. 322gr total .
