Drones approved by Transport Canada

I only wrote my basic exam because of this issue. For any advanced operations, your drone must be on the list. Transport Canada has to receive the info from the manufacturer. I have sent an email to DJI, but have not received a reply. I fly a p3pro.

Hi there, have you heard anything about whether the phantom 3 pro might be certified at some point? Don't really want to spend a bunch more money upgrading to a phantom 4

Hello @jthompsonsk ,

Prepare yourself for some speculation and m y opinion...I doubt that the P3P would be certified. What would be the motivation for the manufacturer to do so? DJI would much rather you run out and buy new.

By all accounts it does not appear that the P4P is even in production anymore either, and I am surprised that this was certified. Have a look at the pop up on the DJI website. DJI Phantom 4 Pro – Photography Drone – DJI

It looks like the Mavic 2 Pro is the suggested alternative.
