Drones and rural crime.

Long been the case, and not surprised at thieves using drones to case the joint. I was involved with Farm Watch in the UK, I was in the security industry and my family also had a farm.
We were putting in a lot of camera systems for both protecting the machinery as well as covering the livestock especially lambing and calving sheds so that the farmer could monitor his livestock from his kitchen :)
Quad bikes were the most popular item to get stolen in the late 90s

Livestock theft is the one I worry about .You cant insure them for theft and they are worth so much.
Our farms are large here and generally isolated .The thieves are well organized with well trained dogs temporary yards and large trucks .
You rely on neighbors keeping an eye out for strange activity (loading sheep at night someone with a drone:eek: Mind you many farmers have drones now)
