Downloading videos from a ipad mini to pc

Just bought an ipad mini and works good for flying but am having a dickens of a time trying to download to my pc. I can transfer from the vision 2 to the ipad but once there, I am unable to see it nor transfer it. Anyone else encounter this?

Did you happen to shoot in 1080i? Apple devices do not support interlaced video. Stick with 1080p.

I had it set at 1080P before I did the upgrade to 2.0 but don't think that would affect the video download. I'm to the point now that I will use the ipad mini for flying and use my smart phone to download. Sucks to spend $300.00 for the mini and it is somewhat useless.

Why not just stick your card in a USB card reader and move any file you wish to the computer? Works for raw files too.
