Download sd card with cable

Can I use cable to download pictures from sd card, and possibly reformat. My card is stuck in drone

I had the same card problem, I cut a piece of wood from a cigar box the width of the card and shaved it down to the thickness of the card and gently exerted pressure on the card and it popped out. I sent a picture of it to DJI and they suggested to return it. I hope it helps you if you try to remove it.

If I were a cigar smoker I might try that, I did try popping out with a small coin, flat screw driver with no luck it seems to be stuck pretty good. I really need to get that sucker out I bought a new high speed 64GB to replace it. Considering removing the back from the camera ans see if I can get to it that way

You may be able to get it out with some tweezers see vid here

What I have found is that the tiny sprung bit that holds the card - when you force card out - that gets damaged and then no card stays in.

It needs card to be pushed more in and thin tweezers or similar used to then pull it out smartish before that sprung clip engages again.

Sometimes its stuck because card is not truly straight in the slot. If the edge with the little tab is over a little bit - sloppy card slots are guilty of this (I have sport cans that I have to be careful about this) ... then you need to gently edge the crad straight by small screwdriver or similar on the corner outer of card. Press in and pull out.

Unfortunately even though I can identify card stuck in my gear - I have one Sport Cam that slot is damaged and now unuseable when I got card out. That's when I found out about the little sprung part !!

I even have a number of micro card equipped gear - that its possible to put card in but miss the actual slot. The card goes in by the side - one it actually fell inside the camera case !!

It's a bit slow, and the drone chirps the entire time. Don't do it if Mrs. Texan is trying to watch Real Housewifes of (insert name of city here). She will smash your drone to pieces and you will be very sad.
I got one of those too. LOL
