How does "lower the radio transmitter power" affect operation and range?
Any experiences?

That is EXACTLY my question as well. It seems quite apparent that by lowering the transmitter power is an attempt to throttle our range. But since I am by means no expert, could this be to extend battery life?

Common sense tells me that this is for limiting range.

Thoughts Anyone?
