Dji phantom 2 h3-2d gimbal problem pleae help

So I was flying my phantom 2 with my gopro and the h3-2d gimbal and my nephew switched it to manual and it fell out of the sky only 8 ft tho roughly. It landed on the landing gear and bounced over onto its side. Flys fine but the gimbal won't stay stabilizing it'll go limp and flop all over and and it'll come back sometimes but everything is plugged in no damage on the gimbal any idea why it would be doing this? Really need it fixed asap
