DJI P2V Doesn't respond to controller.

I have a P2V and I linked the controller with the link LED on the bottom of the unit.
I calibrated the compass.

In the phantom software the calibration responds to the controller and that means the unit would have to detect the controller.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

Just to be sure you did the link procedure correctly: Power on the Phantom, note RED FLASHING LED in link slot. Depress button with a thin object. LED should BLINK YELLOW. Power on controller. Link LED should turn off, indicating successful link between controller & receiver. You should not be able to control the aircraft.
