Dji Hub for phantom 4 batteries

I Charge 2 batteries up to 100% before going to fly the drone
in the end i didn't go out
If i put the 2 batteries in "storage" the hub will discharge the batteries to 50% ?
Or leave the batteries outside the hub for several days?

The hub will discharge the batteries, but it'll take quite some time. It would be easier to let the batteries sit idle since they will auto discharge themselves down to 65%.
