Dji go app not working

Clicked on how to connect
Followed first 3 steps
Step 4 - enter camera view
So I go back to screen that has equipment, editor, sky pixel and me.
I click on equipment and nothing.
How do I get to camera view?

I bought a lighting adapter to put on cable to attach to phone.

I am using my iPhone cable. I keep clicking on equipment on bottom left and nothing happens.

i was not getting the camera button. I did a cold restart on my phone and I finally got the camera button.
Now I went thru all the initial screens and quiz and went outside just to auto take off and land and I got an ESC Status error.
