DJI care with titan range extender

Hey guys, I have crashed my first drone. It’s a p4p. But not to worry I purchased the dji care refresh prior to the accident so should be all good. WAIT! I have a titan range extender. Does this void the dji care package ? Thanks guys I am shitting bricks here

Modifications will void your coverage, however, chances are you will only need to send them the AC, not the controller.

Do you know this from experience? I’m just wondering why the place I bought it from, which is a UAVs specialist store would sell me the care package with the range extender.

I've only sent my Phantom in for warranty service, not a crash so DJI Care was not impacted. They did have me send them both the AC and controller.

Warranty Service is for defects, DJI Care is for pilot error (there are some exceptions) and as such my guess is you will be fine as long as you didn't modify the AC in any way. DJI Care DOES NOT cover the remote so there is no reason for them to ask for it.
