Sorry, but I didn't see anything interesting that video. I wish Autel would create something impressive, such as Lightbridge-like communications. It's not rocket science to do that. They need a decent communication system, instead of using anemic WiFi communications, which WASN'T designed for wireless video communications. If Autel would create their own Lightbridge, then they would be a contender IMO. They need something like Lightbridge, otherwise they will always be a second class drone company, competing with toy manufacturers like Husban.

Last April at NAB in Vegas Autel showed a 350mm drone (same as their orange craft) with 360 rotating camera and retracks. They said it was an experiment, they wouldn't say when it's going into production, yet they were showing it to everyone. It looked very cool, and they said they'd have a 1" sensor by Summer 2017 for their regular craft, which hasn't happened, I think. They've had a long time since April to develop that craft, maybe they'll announce something interesting at CES.

What's interesting is that they aren't committing themselves to anything.
Our path may be long and not the quickest route - that must be their motto.
They were showing off their X-star back in late 2014 when the company was called Maxaero.
At the time DJI was selling the P2V+ and the X-star looked like a competitor.
A bigger drone, the Venture II was also promised but has never been seen since.

But they buried it with the release of the Phantom 3 in April 2015 and never sold any in 2015.
A bigger drone, the Venture II was also promised in mid-2015 but has never been seen.

But it still wasn't released until May.
AT CES 2017 they announced they would be releasing a camera in the same league as the P4 pro.

That camera has never been heard of since then.
Meanwhile their flagship drone is still somewhere between a P3 Standard and a P3 pro.

Autel have a poor record of delivering ... but they have delivered more than Plexidrone.
