Did I just get a lemon?

I think it turned out foul right out the box

So here's what's going on:

I start the unit - gimbal calibrates wrong, turning ever so lightly to the left
I pick up the unit to test gimbal's tracking - gimble goes crazy (wiggles all over the place)
I attempt calibration - further maddness of the gimble (wiggle, jitter and some clicking too)

I already wrote to DJI and they are looking into it
I also plan to head back to the dealer next week.

Would highly aprreciate any input on this

that looks pretty bad, have you tried doing an imu calibration as well as a compass calibration? The gimbal can't level itself if the IMU needs to be calibrated.

I bet DJI will instruct you to exchange it at the place of purchase. To answer your original post, yes it seems you got a lemon!

Could b the ribbon cable that connects th gimble to the board. The gimble will freek out if its disconnected.
