...which is why I think we really need an RF meter to actually know what we're getting ...

Yeah I got a couple of those Lee they work just fine. They are heavier, the parts are cheaper made. But they work just as well and use the same booster batteries. In fact Tony from FPVLR
Is now selling those on his site instead of Sunhans brand (probably because he can buy them cheaper)
Don't expect any more out of the 5 W than you would get out of a 2.5 to 3 W of any other brand though

Sunhans dropped Tony as a customer because of his bad attitude so he switched to these. He gets them real cheap & threw a different housing on his "new and improved custom boosters" but same internals.

They don't quite push as much power as the sunhans but they will still work pretty well for you I'm sure!! Lots of people using them !!

Me personally, I use the 3w sunhans , they are great !! Clean output and more power as well!! Nice and light !! And support if you have an issue is there !! Where these cheap ones, you will just have to buy another most likely.
