Make sure your camera lens has enough space from the sparks as to not allow any of the residue to hit the glass. Even if the spark isn't bright, it can hold enough heat to melt into glass.

Just put a piece of glass over the lens and you'll be good to go.

I’m pretty sure Maddy has a better grip on this skill set haha- I’ll keep slinging them out there though
