Cracks in shell & legs over tightened screws.

Hello,

I’m a new member from Jervis Bay Australia have been lurking for the past couple of months since I bought my P4. I hit a tree doing 70k so have replaced the shell and legs from info gleaned in here and on U-Tube. I got lucky that the only damage was to the shell and legs. I bought genuine DJI replacement parts but had a real struggle wrestling the two shell halves back together which seems to have caused cracks to the shell and legs. Or did I over tighten the leg screws?

I don’t know, but my P4 has the same cracks from the factory. Even the battery cover has a crack.

I'm impressed your 1.5mm hex driver could get that much grip!

Those machine screws don't take much torque and have blue threadlocker from the factory. No worries about rattling loose in flight.
