I think I saw a video that says the Phantom vision plus you can switch the controllers so no matter which way the Phantom is facing The front is always away from you in the back is always close to you
One is that true and to do you recommend I do that

It's true. It's called Home Lock.

The idea is if you loose orientation pulling the right stick back brings it to 10 meters from your take-off point where it is easily seen. There's a few more details but that covers your question.
 
The closest feature to what you're describing is Home Lock, but it does not work exactly like that. This video explains how it works:
