Controller Issue

Just tried to update my controller through the Go 4 app while connected to my phone. I left the app and it kept beeping but then when I got back into the app I couldn't see the status, and it kept beeping for an hour and so I unplugged it to reset. Now I can turn it off but when turning it on it takes one button press and the controller is solid light blue.. can't connect to my drone either. Any ideas? I tried resetting it

My light is blue also...wants to tell me it's an INSPIRE 1 and needs the pre 4.0 app.
Won't connect at all now with Android. Wondering if anybody is offering a repair service in southern California using their ios iPhone or iPad to get the controller updated properly. ..willing to pay
