I have a phantom 4 pro and recently I have been having trouble shutting down the controller. I have been pushing the power button twice as always. Any suggestions?

Are you pressing it once, then quickly pressing it a second time and HOLDING it for 3 seconds?

Yes I am. I have had it for over 2 years. If I keep trying it will shut down

Thanks John

Maybe the button is stuck. Try pushing it very rapidly and see if it will loosen up. I know a hammer works well for turning it off, but I would use that as the last resort. Lol

I'm not the best at givin advice, I know, but man! That's kinda harsh. Maybe. I dunno. Guess I've considered it a time or two myself...???

Lol the button is making contact because the status lights all light up when I push it and then go down to one light but does not turn off. If I let it set for 5 minutes or so then it will turn off with the button. Wondering if it can be reset some way.

I have a hammer on the wall above my work bench labeled:

“WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS”

I rarely use it, but it’s 100% effective when I do.
