I have upgraded GS to a fairly new iPad. When I bring it all up, the main controller menu comes up, asks for my password and after entering it (thinking it's correct) it says "connection timeout". I also can't see the bluetooth connection on the iPad. I re-loaded GS and saw something in the requirements that make me wonder if my bluetooth on my iPad is capatable. Lot of questions for my first post. Just not sure which direction to pursue.

I'm new to ipads and Ground Station but here's a few things to check.
The ipad needs to have Bluetooth version 4.
Check in Settings > General > About, scroll down to bluetooth to see the version info.

Find Blutooth near the top of the main settings list and make sure it is on.

Also the Phantom needs to be outside to receive satellite signal to connect to the app.Even if you're only going to run a simulation.

Apple doesn't come out say what version it is. They just tell you their model number for it. I'll check on Apple's site and see if I can figure it out. I just bought this iPad maybe 6 months ago.
