Today I tried to circle around me using the HL mode after lifting it up to about 50 meters. I pressed LEFT and it did started circling around me. After I made half a full circle; my 4 minute alarm went off and I decided to make back the half (just to travel over I've already been); but on the way back it seemingly started to make a larger circle (confirmed via gopro footage). I got scared and engaged failsafe, which brought it above me rather quickly. Is this normal?
