I received 3 unused batteries that have been in store since 7-2024. When I connect these to my charger the following happens.
Green ring led lights, first bar (most far away from ring) blinks 16 times. All lights go off. After about 15 seconds the whole cycle repeats.
Happens with both my chargers that charge other batteries without issues.
One is now on the charger to see if a prolonged period of time would break this cycle, like it being in hibernation or something.

Has anyone come across the same kind of behaviour ?

Thanks
Erwin

They've most likely been discharged too deeply to be usable.

While some people claim they can (sometimes) be revived, doing so requires disassembling the batteries. That essentially destroys the battery case.

I contacted the supplier, he was willing to replace all three of the batteries as he thinks it is a production error. When looking back on very old internet information it is the same error as some very early DJI original batteries had, DJI replaced these apparently. As if this non-OEM source copied the old DJI battery design including the issue.
To be continued when the replacement batteries are tested.
